Default VA complaints

Where do I file VA complaints at for the GI Bill? My school is so damn lazy it makes me sick.

My Scenerio:
I procrastinated turning in my Spring 07 schedule because my schedule for the fall was very work heavy at the latter part of the semester. So I turn the sheet in on Jan. 3rd after I got back from vacation and the VA reps for my school was back in the office from the holidays.

I knew I wouldn't get all my benefits for the month of Dec. immedietly but once I turned in my schedule for Spring semester I figured it won't take but 2 weeks for me to recieve the other part of the full amount.

Well, I go by the VA reps office last week and talk to her, she said that she is just processing my paperwork over the next day or so. It took her 3 weeks to "start processing" my schedule. As of now, I still haven't recieved the full amount yet like I am entitled to.

The thing that leads me to believe my VA rep is a piece of shit is that when I was at a community college in OKC that is right next to a military base, the community college had my schedule processed within 3-5 days max. I know for a fact that the community college processed more VA benefits than my university does.

I want to send a complaint to the main VA office, identifing to them the issues I am have with my university VA rep, I know my VA rep isn't paid by the VA office, but rather by the school. I am going to look into filing a complaint with the Provost Marshall also. I am sick and tired of my VA reps beaurocratic speeds.

Does anyone know where I can file a complaint with the VA also.

If I remember correctly the VA rep at your school is employed by your school. What I did with my rep was make complaints up the chain of command at the till something happened, it just so happened that she "left" the school not too long after

If that does not work you might be able to find someone to talk to in the VA regarding your situation but good luck with that. THE VA SUCKS!!!!!

I knew the rep was hired by the school, I guess that is my best bet for filing complaints. I am going to talk with other veterans from my school to see if they also have issues with her. Maybe we can get something resolved.

I had the same problem with the VA rep at my local community college. There is only one person to process all VA benefits, and she's either sick or on vacation all the time. I got fed up after it took her 6 weeks to process my benefits, so I wrote a complaint letter to the President of the college. wouldn't you know it, my benefits got submitted 2 days later. How about that. Just like a boot to the ass, only not quite.
