Default should I join?

Well Bush is almost out so I am thinking of joining again.

I am a bit older this time around though.
I am going Air Force only if I go.l

I have an associates degree in Computer systems and a bachelor's in Criminal Justice.

I am 30 years old and in good enough to shape to handle boot camp and pass the physical requirements.

If I were to join do you think I would go in as an officer? If so, what level and what do you think the pay grade/level would be?

I am also currently in management at my current job. I have had up to 50 people under me at one time and have trained pretty much the whole facility at one of the largest companies in the world.
I was raised 17 years in the air force.
Public speaking comes naturally to me

Going enlisted and officer are two totally different paths. Your question is puzzling. If you go in as an officer you'd be an O-1. When I went back in, I went back in at my prior rank. YMMV.

I think it is pathetic that you only consider joining by who is in office. You are serving your country not a specific person. Beut hey that is just my opinion. Will you go AWOL if someone comes into office that you don't like?

BTW, what you do as a civilian doesn't mean shit, when you join the military. You earn everything from scratch there.

If you have a Bachelor's, it would be absolutely retarded to join the Air Force enlisted. Put in for OTS. OTS is boot camp for officers. Pretty sure it's about 3 months long. When you graduate, you will be a 2d LT (0-1). You can look up the pay scale online if you want to know what the base pay is for 0-1. Your BAH will vary depending on where you get stationed.

Why is it pathetic to be smart enough not to work for a person or administration that you absolutely hate? I think the republican party and GW himself are probably hurting the country more than anything else since he has been elected.
He is the commander in chief right? Head of the military? Why you intentionally work someone that you cannot stand?

I wouldn't go AWOL if the administration changed later on but I am bright enough to know that I very opinionated about the current administration and that I will probably not be able to control my views on him.

Aside from how pathetic you think I am, Would it be worth joining and how quickly are you up for promotions as an O-1?

I will not go enlisted. If I can't go in as an officer then I will not go in.

Also if you want to view how much you would make at each rank...

Just a heads up, they are kicking out a couple thousand Lts right now. Also, all PCS moves have been put on hold for officers and a few other things that are going along with this force shaping that is going on. Jumper actually has more details that I do on it, but keep that in mind.

just a heads up if you go the officer route

under Art. 88 of the UCMJ:
"Any commissioned officer who uses contemptuous words against the President, the Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of a military department, the Secretary of Transportation, or the Governor or legislature of any State, Territory, Commonwealth, or possession in which he is on duty or present shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.
