Thumbs down Don't Shop @ Del Amo Motorsports, Hawthorne CA!!!

Freaking Liars!!!!

So I was in Del Amo Motorsports looking at the new Kawi 250R, a friend of mine wants to start riding and I was going to help purchase a new bike. The new styling of the 250 made it a great beginners bike.

Anyway, I was talking to the sales guy and he mentioned a price and I was like, "never mind, that too high." I told him that I got a quote from OTD for like 4G's Out The Door. The sales guy, Marcos, went to his sales manager who came back and said that he could meet or beat any competitors deal. Great, then I will take a Black 08 Kawi 250R.

Dang, they don't have one in stock. No sweat, I just had to leave a deposit, 10%, and they will call me when they got one in. Cool, I can work with that, I left a $400 deposit. Oh by the way, I was third on the list for a black one.

Well that about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and then I got a call Sunday. Sweet my bike was in. I went down to Del Amo Motorsports, to fill out the paperwork and pick up the bike.

Well, guess what, they can't honor the price of 4000 OTD, I was furious I asked for my deposit back and left. But as I was leaving and while I waited for my paperwork to start, I did notice that a few other people were looking at the bike, I was supposed to get. I can only assume that they expected to get more profit by selling it someone else rather honoring our agreement.

Anyway Del Amo Motorsports is a piece of $hit dealership. And I don't recommend it to anyone.

Thats jacked! If you ever leave a deposit, then get your price in writing (Signed by the sales Mgr.) I was in the car business for 6 years, and by law they have to honor any price written and signed by a dlr. mgr. Jusst my 2cents.
