so i have to get to sacramento tonight and i need an alternate fourth through the grapevine seeing as how i 5 is closed due to snow. someone recommended i take the i5 to northbound Antelope Valley 14 to the west 58 and back onto the five. i tried to look it up on yahoo maps but i couldnt find highways 14 or 58. does anyone have a good alternative to going through all this trouble... and how long does the 14 to 58 route take anyways.
What i've done before is go up the 101 and switch over again at the 41 at Paso Robles. It adds about 2 to 3 hours to the drive but is an alternate route if you absolutely have to get to Sacramento.
