Default Help with installing cut frame sliders?

Hey i got some brand new woodcraft framesliders off ebay for 35 bucks (What a deal!) and am gonna pick them up really soon.

If any body has experience here with installing these ill be happy to ride over to their place so that we can cut my fairing, install them, ect. My bike is an 07 r6. Ill bring some beers if ya want lol or compensate you for your time, but im mostly looking to meet new people.

Im located in Yorba Linda/Anaheim area so if anybodys up for it let me know! Thanks alot guys.

I've done it on race plastics, and it's very easy with the way the Woodcrafts assemble and mount to the bike. I can get it perfect for you with a dremel and a pencil.

I am kinda busy coming up here over the next few weekends, but might be able to do it during the week here next week, or I am on vacation the following week, (but not going anywhere,) so I could do it then.

BTW, I work in Orange right by The Honda Center, my parents pad is in La Verne, and I live in Alta Loma.

I've used my dremel to cut plastic...it can be nasty and end up jagged. It melts if you go to fast and it wants to grab the bit if you go to slow.

Put masking tape on it and use a fiberglass circular drill bit to make holes.
I'm sure Danny will do a perfect job, I was just suggesting another approach.

id help out, but since its not my bike, id a little nervous cutting up your bike. i could probably take a stab at it, but again...its not my bike. if you want, i could bring my dremel over next week and some other tools and we can learn together.

ive got the no-cut type, but have been thinking of picking up some woodcraft for better piece of mind.

Yea man thatd be great. Id trust ya cuttin up my bike .

I have a rotozip but technically thats not a dremel tool since its basically just a drill bit on the end of it haha. But thats not even too far away. Seriously ill come over whenever you have time and we could take a stab at it.

And if that doesnt work out then me and rene could try it out haha

^ That looks awesome. The first time I ever installed some cut type sliders on an older bike, my cuts were not very nice.
