Aloha All,
I have seen lots of posts wanting to know if we are a go for the Toy Ride this year. The answer YES!!! The ride will be held at Magic Island Parking Lot. First bike in at 0830 and we will depart at 10:00 AM SHARP! You must be inside the Parking Lot to participate in the parade. This is to ensure your safety and others. To dangerous with people cutting in and all. We will ride with our toys through Waikiki up to Kapiolani Community College Parking Lot and there we will collect the toys. The Marines will be participating this year also. They will be collecting the toys for delivery to the Salvation Army Drop Point. Important...You must have a Toy in order to take part in the ride!!! This way we don't have to deal with the money donations like last year. THERE WILL BE A POLICE ESCORT through Waikiki. No red light stops this year. This will be a plus on the safety factor. There will be an after party at the Fleet Reserve Association located across from the fire station on Valkenburg Blvd. starting at 1:00 PM.
We will be having a band, food, and ice cold beverages. The band will play from 1:00PM - 5:00PM. This would be a great time to meet the new SBU Officers for 2004. On that note....If you are wishing to be an officer in SBU please let us know soon. Elections will be held at Magic Island prior to the Ride. You can drop us a line inside the SBU Message Area located at
www.streetbikersunited.org
If you are not a member yet just log in and I will validate you. I think this about covers it. I hope some of you will put last years ride behind and come out to this years ride. We have gone back to the old ways as requested and we have tried hard to correct the problems from the past. It's the children that win in the end! Take care and GOD BLESS!!!
Love, Respect, and Brotherhood ALWAYS!!!
