Default hawaii from the 9th to the 23rd

Alright guys I will be in Honolulu on the 9th and I will be there until the 23rd. I would like to ride while I am down there at least one of those days but is there a place I can rent a bike? I could not find a place that rents out sport bikes so if any of you locals have any info it would be greatly appreciated and any good rads to hit up.

Paradise Rent a Car rents sportbikes too. Last time I passed by, they had an older style R6, a GSXR 750, and a new 600RR. No website...phone # is (808) 926-7777.

Default I'm here and I got pics of a black r1

Well, guys I am here and I just ran into a black 2004 R1...he lives in the Waikiki beach area. I got to talk to him but failed to get his name.

I must say that I am amazed on the amount of riders out here who do not were gear!!! Now i am from houston Tx and I know what heat is like too but all it takes it one time and you would be wishing you had a helmet and a jacket. Not to mention of the @#%$ tourist that drive those scooters and don't pay attention to shit. Anyway, here is the bike...let me know if you know the guy and thanks for the bike rental information. I heard H3 is by the lookout are where alot of the riders go on sundays...You guys take it easy and enjoy the sun. I know I am...If you guys need a texan to hang out with let me know.

Also i saw two bikes get pulled over the other night, couldn't tell but i think it was a R6...

Not sure, but I think the H3 is more the stuniting crowd. If that is what you are into then head there and I hope you have fun. If you arent into that, then you can go on the AMSR cruise on Sunday. They meet at 12:30 ish in Ala Moana Park at the West end concession stand- the map is on the Info portion of their webpage. If you get there at 12:45, you should see bikes parked. Everyone is friendly. They leave at 1:00PM. Ride safe.

Yes their are gearless riders everywhere here. Pretty stupid. Darwinism will weed them out...heh.

Thanks...I am more of a twisty person myself so the Sunday ride does seem a bit more suited to my style. However, they want 180 to rent out a bike for a day and that is a bit too much. I would rather get a mod for my bike back home! I am needing a new rear set, and a few other additions. I don't think I am going to get to ride here witch sucks...I will probably tour the island in a jeep. I still need to hit north shore and a few other locations before i head out.

I just got back from Hawaii about a month ago. I rented an 04 silver R6 from Hawaii Sportbike Rentals. It was like $420 for 4 days. All in all, bad investment. The fucking traffic was absolutely terrible, and the helmet I was provided w/ was no more than 50 bucks and it didn't fit.

Also, almost every person I saw out there was not wearing a helmet. I was in awe about that shit. I'll be honest I cruised the strip in Waikiki Beach w/ some shorts on for like 20 mins. I'd never not wear a helmet though, I dont understand that....

I hear you...I as amazed about that too. I saw a couple of bike get pulled over too and the police were none to happy with them. It appears that dodging the Poepoe man is common. I met a guy with a black 04 R1 that just rides with out a state plate. Can't say I blame them since it is a freakin rainbow...
