Default Going to Oahu for a 7-10 days, anyway to rent a bike from someone?

Hey guys, i am a college student staying with a friend near honolulu for a little while. I've thought about shipping my r6 over there but there and back would be around 1k. I've thought about renting mopeds there for 40$ a day, i dont think i could get a full motorcycle because of my age. Edit: Correction i can but it is 700$ a week.

I was wondering if anyone here has a bike i could pay to rent off them for a little while. I have full coverage insurance through USAA to cover any worst case scenario, but i am not a new rider.

So if anyone has a bike i could pay them to borrow for a week I would be forever indebted to you. Prices negotiable depending on the motorcycle.

I know in the state of hawaii you are not required to wear a helmet, but if i can working something out here I plan on bringing my arai and other gear so that wont be a problem.

Thanks,
Robert E.

The first thing that popped into my head was to place an add in the local craigslist. Other than that, I wouldn't know where to start. Mike.

What's the dates you were planning to come down? What were you planning on using the bike for? And how much were you expecting to pay? My buddy has a 2000 R6 that's sitting in my garage. Let me know the above info and I can ask him for you.
