Down to coast at say LeTouquet of beach race fame and then meander down the coast roads all the way to St Malo - taking the Normandy beaches etc. Rest day in St Malo (or nearby) then day's motorway dash back to Somme area day there and up to ferry at Zeebrugge that evening. 6 days in total.
Anyone recommend particularly good roads in that area / bad roads in that area - great places to see and things to see?
The thread on european breakdown cover was very useful. I've also found out I need Hi - viz over-jacket in France (in case you breakdown) to avoid a potential on the spot fine.
Thanks

Never heard that one about the Hi vis!!! learne something new everyday.
Sounds like a good trip, take care and watch your speed, french cops hate bikes that speed, me living in Guernsey only 12 miles from the french coast, have heard it all from peeps over there, 4 blokes got caught doing 130 and they confenscated their licences so they had to hire a van to get home.
have fun
