Default The Mrs new bike

Well we picked her up on wednesday night after handing over £850 and got her home and took some pics.

Now she looks a bit of a state:

Now they are race faings so they have to come off.
The swingarm has been extended for some reason, prob to do the sprint over here.

this pic really get sme every time:

the bike is in general state of neglect but she will shine again:

I spent all day in the garage yesterday and this is what she looks like now:

We spent 4 hours on ebay last night and bought a load of goodies for her.

Full set of fairings in scuffed blue(thanks to all that posted in my other thread but we are sorted now)
Braided hoses
New pads all round
bar ends
crash bungs
new chain & sprockets
new swingarm (that was bought friday night and my Bro picked it up yesterday)
clutch cable
foot pegs
mirrors

We are seriously looking to putting my old R12 front forks onto her aswell.
All I need is some clip ons and a top yoke, should look the dogs when we have finished.

Keep you posted on progress.

Ok guys here she is minus the body work.

I got her running sweet as a nut today as i synched up the carbs.
They where all over the place so got them all the same and she runs sweet now and soooooo smooth, I will advice anyone with a carbed model to get this done.
Ah well the R1 front forks are now fitted and she runs like a dream so the bodywork will get fit next week and Jen will have a lovely R6.

More pics will follow as i get her looking good.

looking good spike

What colour will it be when finished?? are you doing the 01/02 tail with LED's or keeping the original?? guess you've got an R1 mudguard as well as the R6 fairing.

Keep us updated mate.
