Talking Knee down at last

Finally got my bloody knee down on my way home today around a few roundabouts
Had it hovering a few mm above the tarmac for ages now. A read of a few articles in some magazines new and old sorted out my body positioning and my lines into corners...basically my biggest problem was tipping in abit to early so i left it a bit later and tipped in harder and there i was scraping on my knee...better than on my toe sliders like at pembrey hairpin!

I know its no big deal to most but it is a very big deal when you can't do it, Should help on the trackdays too

Ha ha my thoughts exactly!

Naa well done mate. We knew it wasn't a corner speed issue because you carry plenty of that. Just tweeked the body position a bit and stretched the ole leg a bit more.
Elbow down next ? Just dont follow it up with hip , bum , back and hands like me and Dan managed 2 years ago.

PS Are you keeping this potential new bike a secret untill photo evidence is ready

Hopefully not do the same as you & dan!

Should be getting the new bike on the 11th maybe sooner will see.
Regretably leaving the Yamaha brand now was very tempted to get an R1 but I have decided to get a GSXR 750 K4 instead....another memeber who no longer has an R6 lol!
Put some pictures up when I get it.

Got a trackday booked at pembrey on 29th aug so should help me get used to it. Anyone else want to go to pembrey? £79 with focused events
