do you guys know of any shops in that area that could possibly stock a chain/sprocket kits for a 99 r6 my brother is there now and will be back home next week (home being Iceland) it could save me up to a 100 pounds if he can take it along with him.

I don't think you will find anywhere locally to Lichfield that will stock a chain & sprocket set on the shelf without ordering it in. The only Yamaha dealers nearby (although each is a good 20 minutes drive away) are Arnolds in Burton-on-Trent, and CMC in Cannock. I still think even a main dealer would have to order it in too.
