Default Crash damage

Some pics of the new 08 R6. Trying to get it repaired in time for the next race.

I still have some new 2005 bits if anyone is interested - new rear shock and exhaust system, plus a few other bits.

Yes Mike was OK

The bike did look a bit second hand, i didn't see it return at Anglesey after the race. I am glad that the damage is going to be fixed in time for round 2.

Help this 2008 r6 get back to race reddiness by buying the bits from the 05 R6 MK4 has if you need them.

I wont spoil the drama by telling people exactly how the bike sustain the damage.. However going quiet fast towards rocket at Angelsey and a rear-end lock-up followed by a slide and the bike hitting armco 10 foot off the air will explain most of it.

See you in a few weeks mike

Thanks for the concern, I'm ok apart from some bruising.

This happend at peak revs in sixth on the exit of Rocket at Anglesey, at about 150. I lost the front in the wet. Long slide (about 350 yards) before hitting the armco so not too bad.

The damage was a shattered rear subframe and seat, broken rear wheel, bent frame, forks and yokes, crushed tank and some fairing damage. The wheel broke when it wedged under the armco.

Cost to fix so far is about £2.5k
