Endurance Round 1 Race Report/Results
I am just finishing off writing the race report for the first round of the National Endurance Championship at Angelsey 19/20 April.
it was a tough weekend for the team in it's first race. The team qualified 2nd in class with a 1:16 lap-time, which was1 second off last years championship winners Moores racing on a 2008 R6, and 0.9 seconds off an R1 in the superbike class.
Race day was damp/wet the team finished the race 4th in class, as pit stops were where the team lost time on the other more etsablished teams. Moores R6 unfortunetly had an accident after 1hour 8 mins, leading the bike into the armco on the approach to Rocket.
Here are some pix anyway

Nice pics, got any more?
3 of me m8s entered that, in the first pic they are the one(s) with the yellow/blue helmet and the black leathers.
Think they are called ama racing, Im sure that said they were doing ok until a crash at 55mins held them up for a few laps while they tried to fix a broken something ( i forget what!)

I know AMA, Andrew, Richard etc one of the riders is a future relation of one of our team riders!!! We qualified quiet close to their R1. Ended up finishing above them on the road in placings. Good to see them get a trophy, was only 2 bikes in their class but still points is everything if you score them at each round.

Very well done to Greg for his first race. The team looked well prepared and did a superb job.
As he said, my race was not too good. Lost the front on the exit of Rocket on the rev limiter in sixth so a long slide into the Armco. Expensive crash, but lucky to walk away from that.
