Talking TIRE SELECTIONS

Just wondering.. for those who had tried Different Tires on track days..
Which one is mostly recomended... I've been using Corsa III ever since i hit the track.. and now im looking at The BT-002.. they kinda both have the same idea.. does more layer of compound better ... im looking for a new set of tires to try on my next track day on the 24th of AUgust at Bottonwillow under www.ti2tt.com BT002 is a little bit cheaper than the CorsaIII and Pilot power is good but not on me.. everytime i use pilot power... for no reason i'll get a nail or just somthing.... anyways.. FOr those who had been riding on trackdays I ride a 05 R6 .. what tire is better?? i weight about 195lbs 5'9 just for reference.. THanks guys

there is not a "best" tire.. If there were, nobody would buy anything else. All have little different characteristics however and would be good to try diff. brands to see what you like. However don't compare race tires to street/sport as that is not a fair comparisson. Im partial to Michelin PR race tires.

bt002 race dot are now discontinued and are now named bt003. There is a BT002RS(racing street) which is a track oriented tire. Similar to the Corsa 3 or the CT2. I'm assuming you were pertaining to these bt002rs. They are also the most affordable out of the 3 tires i mentioned.

Well i just bought them and will be installing it next thursday. I was considering the corsa 3.

I ran the 002rs at my last track day and could not have been happier with them. And they can be had for about 230 a set plus shipping. You can't go wrong with them
