Just did another run on the bt 002 on the same canyon this time i go better understanding on the tire.. yes it would be nice to warm the tire before opening up.. for better traction.. and yes it did diliver a good result on my behalf... on som part i would ride more aggressive than i did on the corsa3 and yes it has a good stability on lean agles....but for this type of tire to ride a it as a daily tire it would be a waste ..cuz the life span of the rear is kinda fast.. i just did my second run and its already almost out.. i guess for the price i paid for it $217.85 for the pair its a bargain.. and this coming week ima be doing some trackday on this tires.. then of to Bt003 on my nex pair.... does any one tried the bt003?? what do you recommend for type 1-4???

Just did a trackday yesterday with the BT002RS and they are great. Only comparison of tire on same bike was with the stock dunlop qualifiers. I felt the 02 gripped better on the corners especially from apex to exit. i was able to accel out much earlier and harder. Just felt really confident taking the turns in a much faster pace. It was easier to turn the 02s into the turn as well. The rear balls up alot. Went to the same track 3 times and the other two times the qualifiers didnt ball up on the edges as much. I can see that the rears will wear out much faster than a regular street tires like pilot powers or qualifiers. overall i am happy with the tires and cant go wrong fron the price.

R6 Raven where did you buy your 002rs from? $217.85 is a great price. Was that shipped ?

i had it order from Cyclegear and i asked for the 10% discount it was originaly $236 then with the discount .. i got it for that price... thats for a set front and rear... well my track day is coming this weekend.. and im kinda anxious on how this tire will perform... really excited and nervous...like always... but will see... im also saving money already for the BT003 that one im still under ??? still i haven't heard any comment about that tire yet... in any forums.. and if i did its not as valid yet.......on BT002 I kinda notice the rear tire go out fast... i noticed it after going 2 runs on the canyon... but it does its job pretty good so far... well i donno how it will go on a weather on the 90's the whole track day... the canyon i tested it on was around 80's... Question for you Executor.. what's the weather temp on the track you went to and what was your base psi on your tires?? Im planning on going on 31 front 30 rear... or since the temp is high should i got a little bit higher on the air?? Thanks

My base PSI was 31 on front and 30 in rear as suggested by the bridgestone rep and a few other people who ran the same tires. Temp in morning was low 80's in the morning and low 90's in afternoon session.

How do i get that 10% discount?

Just ask them for a hook up just be nice to whoever you are talking too... if you live in the 805 then it would had been easier ... you might get a more than 10 % off.. cuz most of the guys that work at the cycle gear near my pad is the guys a ride with.. so somtimes they put in %30 off... but the 10% off is thier to give anytime to any one... just ask them to hook you up..

Just finished riding the bt002 at the track last sunday.. i would say i was impress.... the tire held up pretty good... i donno for a second round of track day.. i'll try it nex couple of week again on my next track day schedule.... about the tire it perform really well...the front .. golden really preogressive in taking fast entry it held up and during trail braking ... its pretty good... i compressed my front suspension due to hard breaking and the front didn't even give.. not a single slip on the track... and the rear pretty much same thing... i was using allot of my rear break to minimize compression on the front suspension ...i even lock the rear more than once and it held up right when i lean on the turn.... it wasn't a goon feeling but i was save more than once.... for a price of this tire to perform this well.. im really satisfied... i was able to try this tire on the extreme temp on the track...we started in the morning when the weather temp was close to 80 degree by 9 in the morning... and it shoots up to 105 degrees from 11 to 3 in the afternoon... it was hell with the suit and everything... and bike litiraly turn on its fan just being parked under a canopy.... that how hot was it... and for tire pressure i started 30 rear 31 front... i recomend this if the temp is around 80's but 95's and up you might wanna put some more air... a couple of psi so you wont shred too much tire... anyways ... i think for now for the price it have this is a good track tire... ...
