Default No more 10w30?!?

I was told today that they aren't making 10w30 oil for bikes anymore. The yamaha shop and cycle gear said that they don't even carry it anymore. Everyone is using 10w40 now.

Is this true?

If so, why?

Have you guys used this yet?

It's Shell Rotella's new full syn. What are the friction modifier labels you should avoid and what are the ones you want for a wet clutch??

You're just talking about yamalube....They don't offer a 10w30 anymore...
I don't really have an answer to why...they just changed to a 10w40.
