Default quick shifter question. 06' R6

thanks in advance for the help. Is anyone running a dynojet quick shifter on their 06' R6? if so, is the ignition module required?

I'm setting mine up this weekend before I get it mapped and just wanted to know if i could bypass.

Thanks-

Mark Rozema, former crew cheif to Chaz Davies when he was at Celtic Racing on the R6, built the motor in my '06 R6. In one of my concversation with him he said the ignition module is not required to run the dynojet quick shifter on the 06' R6. He told me the the ignition module is a waist of money. I have not been able to set my QS up on the bike yet, but I am looking to do so before this race weekend (once the bike is back from GMD). I'll give you my report.
