Default 08 R6 Race goodies

Anyone prepped an 08? Where are you getting parts? A lot of stuff is out, but since my last R6 was an 03, I'm having some trouble, specifically on what is 08 specific and was carries over from the 06/7. Apparently exhausts do. Some list them as diff, some as same...weird.
Can't find a damper at all....
And though Dennie has told me a little, can someone school me up on the whole PCIII vs Ignition Module deal? Do you run either? Both? I'm still up in the air on the D/J quickshifter, as I've done nothing but break them (4 total, one of them Deezul's).
Lastly...bodywork. I don't think I'm going back to skinz...so what is out now that is decent quality.
Thanks for any input.

Body work, Tromex.
1/4 turn throttle
I don't do engine/HP mods. I'm not fast enough to need them. I do suspension first.
Exhaust does match up from 06-07
If you don't want D/J I'd get Bazzaz.
Rearsets are same as 06-07 I believe.
Remove 1 or 2 springs from the slipper clutch.

Oh and depending on the track -1/+2 gearing feels great on the 08 R6.

Thanks. I've done the 520, but stuck with stock for now till I know where to go with Willow... Usually I start at -1F and go from there...
Yes the rearsets are the same...
Anyone bought a damper yet? GPR is apparently way-back ordered. Ohlins, etc...??

And Halcyon, did you ever run the stock suspension on the track? I'm not too slow, and neither is Willow Springs... and I have NO idea what the track surface is like. but I can't see dropping 2k on suspension right now with moving my fam to CA... Just trying to squeeze in a quick track day or perhaps a sprint mid-May. My luck stock suspension leads to crash...leads to no more 'street' bike...leads to divorce...cause I wasn't supposed to being racing this weekend anyway.
shhhh......

I have Catalyst Composites. They fit perfect and have been very happy with the way they crash. Not cheap though...

I had my 06 R6 on the track for 2 seasons with stock suspension. Works fine for me but I'm not fast and MMP has a good surface.

Suspension first, ohlins front and WP rear read my race report for a 2006 R6 http://www.r6messagenet.com/forums/s...d.php?t=149515

Bike can be stock engine road ECU and a track full system and will be fine without kit ECU & Wiring

Just change the gearing so you are bouncing off the limiter doen the straights
