Arrow anyone?? Help, please.

I have an 05 r6 with 16,500 miles.
I was doing my usual sunday ride (hard ride) in the twist and everything was going fine until way out of left field my bike wont shift up past 2nd gear.

i get to looking at the bike and notice the shifter doesnt go back to the set position after a shift. I changed the detent spring and it fixed that and improved the feel alot, but i still only get 1st neutral and 2nd gears. it did go into 3rd gear once in like 15 tries.

i pulled the clutch out and ran through it and it all looks great.
im beging to think its a bent shift fork.

have any ideas?

any help is greatly appreciated!!

well mine was hard to shift, i had to try like 5-15 times to get her to shift..turned out it was that..i took the clutch apart too like you, and it was fine..so if you still have problems you should just take it apart and check if its all good..the part is like 100$ or so, because they dont sell just the spring, you have to get the complete shaft
