We just hit Summit Monday...it may be early August before I get back there again. We are trying to do Pocono on the 16th if you can swing that. What group have you been riding with? Did you get any lap times from Summit?

Dang, I don't know if we're gonna make that one since we have Mosport the weekend before that.

Red. Happy being there right now... might try for Blue at the end of the year depending on much I can improve myself.

Best time was a 1:32.87. It was my first time there and it was really tough to get a rythym going at Summit with all the red flags we experienced. I know I can do better if I got some more track time there. I know people in Blue were turning like 1:28s right?

Expert class was running around 1:25's
I didnt have a lap timer but I am pretty sure i got into the 1:28-1:29 range. I passed a guy who I was pitted next to and he said he ran a 1:31 and I was a good bit a head of him. I am on the hunt for a damn lap timer so I can be sure next time instead of asking people I pass what they are running hehehe. I assume you live in the north east somewhere, but where exactly?

Totally worth the investment. Especially for track days since that's pretty much all you're ever trying to do is improve or reach some kind of consistency. TPM sells XTs at the track for a decent price... $177 IIRC.

Mosport for sure on the 10th and 11th and I'm going to take TPM's ART Limited course at Pocono East (the bumpy, technical track) in late Aug. I think the date was the 28th, but I'm not sure.

come drop by on the 11th. A bunch of us R6MN locals are going and we're gonna try to all pit together. So if you see a few pits next to each other full of R6s, that's probably us.
