Thoughts from my last trackday... It was HOT in the pits.
Baby wipes
OR
Spray bottle filled w/cold water and a rag.
Nothing like having to blink the sweat out of your eyes going into turn 1. Better to get it off in the pits and be cool as soon as you're on the track (thanks to the underarmor).

what does every one suggest the best way to cover up the head lights? does any one make a film or something that works better that just duct tape? Going to Jennings next week end for my first track day with a bunch of guys that race all the time and have track preped bikes. So i have to do the weekend convert!

Painter's tape works very well. It's like masking tape, but the adhesive comes off cleaner, and it's light blue.

Why? The painter's tape (especially the wide roll stuff) works perfectly. Tape it over, cut off the excess with your fingernail, and you're done. 10 minutes for the headlights, tail lights, and flushmounts, and it even looks pretty sharp. Doesn't leave any adhesive residue, stays put at 160 mph, and comes off easily when you're done. Where is there room for improvement?
Not trying to bust your balls man, just wondering.

Well, yeah, that's true. Maybe you could start making different colors of painters' tape?

I like to put painters tape down first and then colored duct tape on top of that. You get the color of the duct tape and the no mess cleanup of the painters tape
