Default 2000 r6 top yoke conversion, how hard really?

Hay guys, i jus bought an r6 pretty cheap as the fairing was very badly damaged

I cant ride sports bike (as much as i want too) as i have RSI in my wrists so am thinking of turning my r6 into a little fighter but i am struggling to find out how,

I've found one place on the net http://www.streetfighterstore.co.uk/...e_+_risers/454 that sells top yoke conversion at a cost of 127.99 english pounds

My local shop want to charge me anywhere between £250-£500 to do the conversion as there mite be problems with cables not long enough an having to re route them

Surly there must be cheaper top yokes out there and long enough cables to buy

PLease Please help me save money

Cheers lads

when you mean your gonna streetfigher it does that mean your gonna keep the clipons our are you gonna go db bars? the db bars are gonna make you sit a lil' more up right and could cause some probs with the cables cause they rest up higher... you could also try flipping the clip-ons lots of stunters do that... and streetfightering the bike usually just means taking off the headlights and front cowling and putting a single headlight there

streetfightering a bike is a hell of a lot more than that!

check out www.customfighters.com

you don't have top replace the top clamp. you can get just risers than drill mounting holes in your current top clamp. you will need longer throttle and clutch cables. also longer brake lines.

feel free to pm me if you need any info.
