Default which is sprocket is better for wheelie, -1 front or +3 rear?

i know a -1 front sprocket is equivalent to +3 rear but which is more preferred for wheelies? i have an r6 06 and i already did a -1 front but i'm still having a hard time doing a wheelie at 2nd gear.. i can wheelie easily in my stock gears at 1st gear and when i did a -1 i got a lot of 12 o'clocks but i cant pump her up at 2nd gear(i can but only for a foot high, i cant reach the balance point at 2nd gear). any suggestion guys?

-1 in front or +3 in the rear is the same thing. going down 1 in front is equal to goin up 3 in the rear. my 06 is -1 +2 and it comes up fine in 2nd just clutch it up and it pulls rite up.

I hear going up on the rear is easier on the engine.

I've had one of my mates try explaining the reason why but I couldn't wrap my head round it...

its easier on the chain but not the engine. With a small front sprocket, the chain has to turn very tightly to go around the small sprocket. -1 tooth shouldnt make that much of a wear difference though.
