03 Oil light after wheelies....
So today the bike started popping on the oil light after a wheelie but it would go back off after a second or two... is it just a little low on oil or is this signal of something bad coming up?

i dont mean to thread jack but i think my question would fall somewhat on this topic. is there a mod that would help the motor from not getting oil on top and hydrolocking the motor? if so how would you go about it.

I've read that on some bikes you can use a modified pickup for the oil. I've never read 100% if the yamahas need it or not, though. And I've never heard hydrolocking referring to oil starvation, only when a liquid such as water or coolant gets into the combustion chamber and cannon be compressed between the piston and the head during the compression stroke.

thanks. yeah i was trying to find it on stuntlife.com but couldn't find it. i read the whole sticky on how to do it on the kawai 636 and they say its the same. one of them even some what explained it but then he lost me when he said we need to flip the reed valves. i think i have it but i just wanted to make sure. i think it goes like this. you disconnect 2 lines from the air box. 1 is from the AIS and the other is from the crankcase. then i plug those 2 on the air box. disconnect the whole AIS and replace it with a T tube. connect the 2 hoses that use to go to the AIS. last i think you replace the crankcase tube with a longer one and connect it to the T that replaces the AIS. does that sound right? do i need to do anything to the reed valves cause from what i read if you flip it you will block it which will make no sense.
