Default Need advice from san diego stunters

I really want to learn basic stunts like wheelies and rolling burn-outs and especially rolling tail slides while turning. But, I have the obvious problem of not knowing where I can go to start learning (I know NOTHING yet, I'd be just starting) without causing an accident or getting a major ticket or both. Are there any places where the SoCal guys go to do stunts that are just big open safe areas to learn in?

Also, are there any san diego riders who would wanna help a newbie learn and laugh their asses off when the newbie tried and fell off?

You are too far south. If you were a little closer, I would show you some local stunt spots and techniques.

Look for an industrial area. Go there when it is empty. Ride through the area first to note the layout, terrain, hazards, etc.

Are you going to be doing this on your 6?

At first I guess I'd be learning on the 6, it's the only bike I got. I'm gonna pick up a crash cage before I start, that's for sure. The money will be well spent with my ass falling all the time.

Dude, there's a crash cage company based here in SD called "Racing 905", it's in Chula Vista, on Industrial Blvd.
I think it's because the 905 highway has the biggest industrial area you can imagine in Otay Mesa, heading towards the border, and that's probably where they stunt...

Let me know, we can hit it up together, I want to learn basic stuff too. I can dragg my knee at 100+ mph, but I can't wheelie for shit!

I suggest that you skip the first gear wheelie, and just practice standup seconds.... at first, the front wheel won't budge.... practice enough and u can bounce it up in 3rd...
