Default stoppie question

I've been wondering this. I don't stunt, so please forgive if the question sounds newbish...it is

So when you're doing a stoppie, are you supporting yourself with your arms on the clip-ons, or are you using your legs to clamp the tank like a mofo? The main reason I ask is becuz I see one-handed stoppies and wonder how the fark the bike still tracks straight with the rider trying to push it to the side.

Most of my weight is on the clipons, but if your doing a one handed stoppie...u have to grip the tank more.
