start small, and try not to drop your bike when the tire hits the ground. Roll up to a stop around 30 mph slowly apply pressure to the front brake then lift your body up toward the front while applying more and more pressure, you will be doing them in no time.

try to keep the rear from kicking out to the side on you. if you feel it going to far out to one side put it down otherwise you could come down to a rude awakening.

I say do really slow ones at first like 5 mph so you can learn exactly how much brake is needed to get the back end up. At this speed you can pretty much choke the break without rising flipping the bike over. After you get a feel for it then I would go with blu05r6strtbike advice.

dont smash the brake , your going to totally go over .. gradually apply pressure until you feel the point at which the bike comes up. Get a stabilizer also it really helps , especially if you have a ladyfriend on teh back
