I really like the looks of it, thinking of doing the same thing with a slightly busted 636 I saw for sale the other day. I'm pretty new to stunting on street bikes, but I used to play a lot on my dirt bikes. It would be neat to be able to ride something street legal out to a parking lot and just have some fun. Very nice though.

hey there, i'm not a stunter but my buddy is and posted this on a local forum... thought I would share in case somebody was interested......

Since theres a few of you that stunt the R6's here I will put this out (applies to R1's too)

Last year I started stunting dans 05 R6, while on the street there was somthing about it that was completley different from my F4i. It was like at a certain point the bike would just snap back past BP and Id have to catch it with the brake, this was on the streets in the lots it was worse!

Then I thought about it one night and remembered people doing a R6 throttle tube mod on other bikes. Turns out the R6 uses a cam type throttle tube, instead of being linear throttle application its actually progressive. After about 1/2 throttle the diameter of the pully on the end of the tube where the cables hook up gets larger. So the throttle opens faster, which is great for racing but not so good for stunting.

So to remedy the problem I took my F4i throttle tube (it was what I had at the moment) and I threw it on there. What a world of difference, especially for a $5 part!

So give it a shot, if you dont like it well its easily removable.

I posted this mod on Stuntlife last year and got a lot of good feedback from the guys that ride R6s over there. They all loved it...

Just be smoother on the throttle....The snappyness is what makes the R6 fun for me.
