Default Will a SC ticket Follow me to NC?

I got a speeding ticket for 74 in a 65 in SC, Im a NC resident will it follow me to my insurance? Cuz if not its only 75$

And yea I was speeding coming back from ATL after seeing my buddy Josh in rehab, 8 hours of driving in a day has a way of making you impatient....

Maybe not right away, but eventually it will. I know I got one in NH and it finally got back to MA like 6 years later. By then it didn't effect my ins. though. I did have to go take care of it in NH cause my license was gonna get susp. if I didn't pay, but that's another story.

I dont think the DMV would share the info with NC. You'd just get a warrant in SC if you didnt take care of it.

My main point was that it won't go right away, it takes a while. By the time mine cought up, it didn't go against my insurance. Some states may be quicker though.

Nothing followed me out to CO from MI, and the new Insurance here did not bother to run my MI background...however the lady my wife dealt with ont he phone wanted her MI lic number...but her record was clean so no worry. I get to enjoy low rates now all from moving :-)

However most of those eastern states work together and share information.

I got a ticket early this year in SD and it didn't affect my insurance. I basically asked state farm if it's better to take the class or pay the ticket. The agent basically told me that if it's out of state and if you pay it, it doesn't follow you. But if you don't pay then a warrant is out in your name? But as I was told no it usually doesn't affect you.

COOL! I am going to call my insurance company and see what they say I would be more than happy to just pay it and not have it kill me on insurance.

Dang it! Just called them and they were like even if I got a ticket in alaska it would still come up on my driving record and stay there for 3 years so that really sucks..

I've really had a lead foot lately and Im kicking myself in the ass over it.

I've gotten a
74 in a 65 SC
81 in a 65 SC
82 in a 55 NC and Reckless driving.

I posted up on www.thelaw.com but haven't gotten any replies. Anybody know a good Mecklenburg/Charlotte lawyer or anything?
