Bike Cops
Have you ever been pulled over by one? I was just wondering since I passed one parked on US45. I pointed down at him and he pointed back. They seem like they would be lenient with other bikers. It's probably like other cops who ride. They are pretty understanding when it comes to fellow riders.

Same as with all cops, it just depends who you get. I've had a cop pull me over just to check out my bike and chin wag cause he liked the look of it, didn't even notice (or seem to) how fast i was going. On the other hand i've been pulled over by a F*ckwad bastard on a bike who was like Hitler on a mission, i don't think he could have given me more tickets if he tried to. He did me for everything, pipe too loud, speeding, reckless driving/riding (he saw my front wheel lift off the ground out of a corner!), not signalling (when overtaking a car that wouldn't see me coming anyway), headlight out (even though the R6 only runs one headlight on lowbeam, but try explaining that to him!), darkened indicators and then gave me stick about doing burnouts because the side of my tyre was chewed up from a trackday two days before, go figure!!!
Like i said, cops are cops, you take the good with the bad.

KyNetGuy, set your gearing -1+2. Get into a second gear corner, after the apex, once you've started to open the throttle, shift your bum back till it touches the back of the seat, sit up a little, then finishing opening the throttle, HARD. It'll come up no probs, ala Mick . Well maybe not that high

LOL< that actually sounds more like a 3rd gear corner taken in 2nd.
I will have to try that before I sell her. I have the gearing and all the possible go fast goodies you can bolt on. (about 115hp SAE corrected) I am usually more neutral or forward. My bum is never touching the back just to keep such things from happening.
I guess I based my comment on my riding style. I usually don't make it a habit to hammer the throttle in a turn.
Now my R1 usually has little problem lofting the front whenever I tell it to. And sometimes even when I don't tell it to.
I always think its cool to see riders leaned floating the front about 6-8 inches off the ground. It definately looks much more cool than it feels.
