Angry Speaking of BS tickets f@#$!

I got pulled over today on my way back to school, because i had school today so i was back home, so i got on I91 in western Mass to come home to the south
shore where i go to school... 100 miles, it was 60 out and on the verge of raining and i was very drunk last night so its a pretty shitty day to know that i not only have to drive a hundred miles but go to school from 2-830

so i just began my journey and i get pulled over!
so i cruise past him at 65 and he had just finished pulling someone else over
hes maybe 2 feet off my tail riding the ass out of my shit. i was pissed
i did nothing wrong but i knew, i knew it, id get pulled over, so i did as soon as his lights went on
he comes up, "i pulled ya over for two things, i cant read your plate, and when i did, it says you have a bad inspection sticker."

i dont have a bad inspection sticker... its good till may of 08

well he made me admit that, im a young guy and the plate elim was so its hard to read and bs shit so i dint get a ticket for that

he comes back with a 50 dollar ticket for a bad sticker!!!!

i was like, i dont have a bad sticker?
he didnt even look?

he told me to fight it and bring in the paper work, no problem, he was a nice guy

but i live in eastern MA not western so now i have to get a court date, go fight a stupid ass ticket and miss 6 hours of school and hurt my attendance grade...

FUCKING BS!

if anyone has a reason as to why this happened... please entertain me

If you're out of the county, and your info is uptodate, CALL THE COURT, and ask if you can fax over a copy of your info, or if they'd be so kind as to look it up.

I had similar problems in a place a comfortable 4 hour drive from home. Gave them a call, explained the situation (it was a bullshit no-proof-of insurance ticket, in my case, becuase I couldn't f'king find the card), and asked what I needed to do to prove that I was compliant with the law.

Tip: BE FRIENDLY AND POLITE. Remember, these workers in the courts deal with 200 people every day who think that they're bloodsucking assholes (they are, but don't tell them that). If you keep your cool and just help make their life easier, they'll help you out and you'll be golden.

1) Do what fjman said

2) You can fight tickets by mail. Take a pic of your sticker on the bike and send a photocopy of your current registration. It will be dropped.

Ha! Because cops in Mass. are total pieces of shit. It's got to be one of the only states where all cops are glorified as saints and walk on water. They've even managed to rig all of the laws to make everything illegal. Western states don't even have a safety "inspection."

I went to school outside Boston, first week with CA plates, I get arrested for driving on a "Suspended" CA license. I'm like, WTF??? Well, turns out that an arrest carries a mandatory vehicle search, the real reason I got arrested.

So they take me into the station, but they're totally cool about it. It turns out you pay some clown at the station a 50 dollar "fee" and they let you go. You show up to court the next day and they just throw the thing out because they know the cop made it up just to search your car. And you can't complain because they just say it must be a problem with the out-of-state database connection system.
