Default done with riding

i am officially done with riding the streets. on saturday i got ticket i was doing like 95-100 mph on 45 mph limit, after passing a hill, cop pulls me over "- do you how fast you were goin?", i think i fukt so i say" 60 " he goes : no i got you at 61 and smiles, then writes me ticket for 16 over and say that he rides himself and on wisconsin border with illinois where i live and ride there is at least one bike related fatality every week and start begged me to slow down . as much as i hate cops, belived that men, he gave me a break and that was officialy ending of my street riding carrier. next season track only.

Great decision to take it off the streets.

I've been riding sportbikes for years and am a cop also. Everytime I get on the scene of a motorcycle fatality it makes me rethink riding just a little. Be safe out there guys. Save the 3 digit speeds for the track! =P

^^ good for you man. Though I still have fun riding around on a daily basis, i have to say that its sometimes hard to keep the speed down...I will soon be doing nothing but track riding as well....

I'm always sad to hear people giving up street riding. Just track the R6 and get something more suited to the real world we live in for the street.

Depending on where you are, it may be for the best. I live in FL, in the subs, where there are more old people than you can imagine. On top of that, there are 5 highschools within a ten minute drive....

So you've got:

Highschool fucktards that are way too easily influenced by the Fast and the Furious

-and-

Old people, who don't pay enough attention, react slow, can't see well...

Its a pretty ugly combination. I've been ousted off the road by a Highschooler, and totalled my bike from some guy who thought he'd slam on his brakes and pull a U turn mid traffic, causing another car and myself to go down....

Needless to say... I'm done.
