Default Off duty jet ski cop wtf

So a buddy and I are riding fast, not even stunting and this lady starts following us rediculously close and talking on the cell phone... so we are like lets lose this chick. No matter what turn we took she kept following us. We would put some distance in between us and she would haul ass and catch right back up to us at the stop signs with her Golf. So anyways we see a cop coming towards us with the lights on so we pull off the road and the off duty cop chick that was chasing us almost slams into my buddy's bike and he drops his bike. Needless to say, we get issued reckless driving tickets by the city we were in when we stopped based on what she said to the patrol officer and she also sent us another reckless ticket in the mail. I took pictures of the skid marks from where she tried to smash into my buddy's bike too, but to me this seems rediculous. What kind of leg do we have to stand on here?

seeming how you are guilty for reckless driving you could try and get the off duty cop for reckless driving to.
they might drop the charges if it could be proved i would guess

i dunno, just a thought

take it to court, tell them there was a woman behind yall driving irradicaly on her cell phone and you were being followed rying to get away...and so on and so on just bend the truth in your favor....either way their isn't enough proof to really give you a ticket for anything, and when the cop shows up to court to tell their side what they going to say this woman almost hit your friend (show pic's of skid marks and street signs) and thats it, they still have to have seen you commit the offence

I'm assuming the off duty officer signed as the affiant, so they did see you commit the offense.

The part that burns me is the chick was driving crazy and wouldn't leave us alone and we were just trying to stay away from her. Not like you can call the cops on her while riding. Also, how can the other district issue us a reckless ticket when all he saw was us pull over to the side of the road and her almost hit my buddy?

I'd say fight it. The person who saw you do the "crime" has got to be the one who gives you the ticket. I think your only chance is to get off on technicalities.

The cop that originally gave you the ticket didn't witness you break the law, so that should get thrown out. By her mailing you a ticket after you already received a ticket is BS as well.

Good luck!

You are screwed without a lawyer. Which will cost you money.

The best thing you can do is figure out where she lives and bash her fucking vehicle in.

I would make sure the money it cost me for the lawyer/ticket would be half of what she will have to pay to have all of her stuff fixed.

Two wrongs definitely make a right in my world.
