Two things:
1: Ticket from April for no plates on truck. I got it signed off and sent in to the court. while double checking my court date for ticket 2 I see that its in collections!! Apparently they never got it so now I think I'm screwed. not sure what to do as they want over $600 for something I corrected months ago!
2: court date tomorrow (arraignment) going to ask for trial. cop stopped me and another guy for crossing a double yellow and unsafe speed. We were being waved around a car (by the driver) so we sped up a little to pass and since we were on stunt rd (malibu) there's no emergency lane so we had to cross the double yellow. cop didn't listen at all and was business like but didn't care. CVC 21460(a) says double lines -driving to left, except driveway, intersection or u turn. I am going to take pics and show there was a driveway so maybe get off on that reason but would like legal direction/assistance
