Default What do you guys say when you get pulled over going super fast?

I see some of you have gotten off with a warning when going upwards of 120mph... what do you even say to them?

Well I just got pulled over tonight and got another ticket, the cop didn't even wait for me to say anything.I had to fight the urge to bite his throat and crush his windpipe.

Just treat them w/ respect. It works most of the time, but 0% for me thus far.

Bikers have a bad name here.

i've heard that cops feel respected when a biker pulls over for them because they know that the biker knows that he could get away if he wanted to

^ that actualy happend to me once, me and a buddy of mine got pulled over doing some where between 90 and 100 we both pulled over and stayed on our bikes untill the officer walked up to us. He told us to get to get off of our bikes and we did. Then he tells us. You know, you guys are the first bikes I've pulled over that didn't run on me. We both just stood there and kept our mouths shut. He then told us about how if we needed to stop fast going at that speed that we would basickly be fucked. yada yada yada (it was kind of a long lecture) Then he was like consider this your warning. Slow it down gentlemen. and he let us go. needless to say we slowed down for the rest of the day.

Thats pretty cool. Though tbh i hate being lectured more than tickets. Esp. the part about being fucked if you need to stop. People just see bikes a think 'oooh fast', a sportsbikes stopping power being up to par with its speed capabilities is often ignored. idk, just the thing about being lectured of riding beyond control of my vehicle by someone who's totally ignorant about the vehicle itself, and thus don't know wtf they're talking about.

But anyway as to the original question, I've only ever been pulled over once for 'retard speed' (was more like he eventually pulled up where we parked down the road). Fortunately for me and my two buds, he was a bit of an old school club racer and wasn't too hard on us at all. He just kinda looked over our bikes (you could see the nostalgia in his eyes lol) and told us what areas to be more careful in. He said he clocked one of us at 153, but gave no lecture and no tickets......just a 'be careful and have fun'. Most pleasant 5 'O experience i've ever had =p.
