A block away from my house and he pulls me over in my driveway
I was coming home after an evening ride with my friend who had recently started to ride.
I was following a slow car the whole way in my neighborhood, who had finally turned off a few streets away from my house so I gassed it a bit.
Then I noticed a squad car on the cross street; I look down and see I am going 39 in a 30. I pass him, he turns after me, I'm screwed.
I take a left onto my street, he follows; I take another left onto the lane my house is on, he follows, I drive down my driveway, he turns in after me. I'm sitting on my bike scared shitless; he shouts to get off the bike, then I notice the familiar voice of another friend of mine (and my families).
This friend had recently started to patrol in my neighborhood and he happened to have the night shift and spotted me cruise by.
My parents came out and we started to talk to him for a number of minutes.
He got me good (that bastard).
