Default i might have just gotten f#$%

i was ridding home last last night from the bars and dancing around 130ish i passed a police officer who had pulled somone over switched gears swithced farthest left lane and resumed my way home. half a mile up the road is my ext to get onto the other highway i hop on it doing about 68 speed says 60mph no big deal i am about 3 miles from my house. i see a car coming up really fast behind me and i am worried its a drunk driver being a sat night and all. so i hit the throttle to eighty to check to see if they would switch lanes they did not. so i resume at 80 until the car starts comings straight at me no lights or anything. out of shock i gun it once more to 115-130 ish and keep looking back no lights but the car keeps coming . the weather was just a bit damp really cloudy and dark and all i could see was headlights. once again i fear for my life tuck and jet still no lights. i go over 135 mph to my exit hop off and race to my raod which i wipe out across the double yellow flipping the bike and me and there i lay in the road with a police car lights f;lashing as i come too and all and the rest is you know what. four tickets speeding, reckless driving, evading , and fail to heed light/siren. all i needed was for him to turn the lights on to pull over. is that legal for him to go 130 with no lights on chasing someone??????i blew 00 and was taken to jail released with no bond.the question i seek to know is do i have a case at all???? and he never read me my rights or anything.i asked him why he did not turn his lights on he said i was sneaking up on you, next breath why did you keep turning around to look at me? .....i freaked thinking i was being chased by a car. am i fucked?????

find a good attorney

no, i don't think you're completely fucked, but i'm guessing you can get a few of those charges dropped at the minimum.

Get a good laywer and you should get most of that if not all taken away. Cop was an ass thats all. And yes it is illegal for doing that, I know cause it happened back home (not me) but saw on the news that a cop ran a red light on the highway with "no lights on" and ended up killing a guy who had a green light. In the end the cop lost his job and police department had to write a massive check. I see this happen a lot, just last time I was riding from my parents house a cop passed me on the highway doing well over 100 with no lights and it scared the shit outa me.

you need a lawyer,
if he didn't have his lights on than you can get the evading dropped.

the cop car should have on board video to prove whether he had his lights on or not.

Wow. Lots of amateur lawyer here...

Need to check the particular states laws, but in most states it is not a requirement for a police officer to have lights and/or sirens active when pursuing.

Since this is a misdemeanor, it is a good idea to consult with an attorney. If you can't afford it, the pubic defender works on a sliding scale.

BTW, being advised of Miranda is only for being questioned not arrested.

Let us know how it plays out.

Glad you weren't hurt.
