When I was riding out in the little country side roads, I noticed flashing lights on the left side of the road. It was a police officer who had his lights on and was just chilling outside of his squad car across the street from a house.
As I was riding past, I got the urge to do something...
...so I nodded to him.
He nodded back.
Anyone else have friendly experiences with police when out riding?

Damn, I filled in the blank in my head with a "I f***** a cop yesterday" and was hoping the story was you getting out of a ticket because the hot lady cop asked you to handcuff her and bone her over the hood of her cruiser.

Theres a spot here where cops always hide. I'm riding past doing the speed limit looking at the hiding spot and as it clears, its not a squad car there as usual but 2 biker cops. I nod to them and they nod back.
riding around i've always kind of had the urge to give them a thumbs up, a head not, or a wave of some sort, because 99% of the time i am within the speed limit. but i do agree that while there are some cool cops out there, most will see this as some sort of taunt or some smart ass move and try to nail you for something. most of the cops around here know me i guess just from seeing me out riding all the time, but i don't want to push my luck either
