Considering the last 2 only went for around $60 bucks, I can see why he why he didn't link to his current Ebay auction:

cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI...3667927032

The previous ones look a little different, it does resemble the Dainese Safety Jacket. The previous auctions made no mention of the CE standards. It would be nice to have some more information about the company and the name on the jersey.

Which pieces are 1621-2 certified?

Hello.

License, I understand your point, however, you need to ask questions before you make assumptions...

Those $60.00 auctions were for body armor that was clearly stated as being below "our" standards. There was no mention of CE standards because that body armor WAS not certified.

This new armor is certified and all tags are clearly present in the product...

That auction is on Ebay because I honestly couldn't resist listing one, that's how excited I am personally about this product. Now I realize nobody cares how excited I am and nobody has ever heard of VelocityGear but that's fine with me. Nobody ahd heard of Joe Rocket or Dainese when they first hit the scene either.

I will let the product speak for itself.

The back protector is certified to en1621-2 LEVEL 2 or 9kn transmission. As I'm sure you are well aware mesh wouldn't/couldn't be certified unless it were made to withstand tearing/puncture/abrasion tests. If it were able to do that it would be made of leather. The mesh is not intended to be a crash resistant barrier. Same idea with any body armor on the market.

The elbow guards and chest plate are also not certified, if they were they would be uncommonly uncomfortable. Although, if the customer wants it we can provide it....

I would like to give you kudos for your post, one of many that has inspired me to develop this armor. Extremely valuable information that everyone should know. :thumbsup

Hey, License.

Do you have any body armor? What is your chest measurement in inches?

I've got an idea that I'm sure you'll accept.

I would like to send you a sample of this body armor for your "approval". It is apparent you know a good thing when you see it and since you were the father of this exceptional post I would love to see what you think.

Now if my product were anything short of exceptional do you think I would offer such a thing...free of cost NO LESS......

Think it over

I currently have a Helimot TLV (we had a group buy on these). I'm happy with my purchase, but I sort of made my decision in the dark. I don't know empiracally how much protection it offers. Compared to other back protectors I've seen, I like it. The other ones look super tough in the pictures on the Net, but flimsy and thin in real life.

If your backprotector/shirt armor carries the appropriate ratings, I would be willing to try it out.

Pics and sizing info are a must before I buy.

Hello WitoldR6

Your current armor, does it have any sort of CE approved tag attached to the armor?

Sizing is based on a physical chest measurement and not jacket size. These details are typically exchanged via email before payment is made.

Some preliminary photos are availabe in the above link License posted, it's actually an Ebay listing of one of the armors. Remember these are preliminary photos. Our webphotos will be taken in the next day or two. Yellow and black back protectors are available.

License the answer to your questions:

Our focus is to provide the highest quality apparel available at unbeatable prices. We don't intend to hire factory riders or spend thousands on magazine ad's. Doing so would only increase the cost of our products.

We would prefer our customers to be excited about our products rather than the company. We don't anticipate ever having the fanfare and media exposure that Dainese does.

In a nutshell, we want to be known for products that can rival anything on the market at prices that anybody can afford.

That's about it really. Quality and economy....

Anyway, what about your sample?

I need your chest measurement and address. Our email address is
