Boot size help!

Got the Gaerne G-RS boots in american size 12.Tried them on and they seem too big.My toes will kind of touch the inside front of the boot if I stand on the ball of my foot/heel up but I can hold the boot still and slish-slosh my foot back and forth inside
I wear a size 12 sneaker but the timberland boots that I've been riding with are an 11,(just noticed that now).Think i'm going to exchange these Gaerne's for the size 11,(they don't offer 1/2 sizes).Since I will almost never really walk in them,I'd rather have them a little tight because it might hamper up and downshifting to have them too big?

Yah i have the same problem with boots. I have alpinestars but they are a 44euro 9.5 us. Funny this is in regular shoes I wear a 10.5 or 11 and the shoes are snug. When I first bought boots the same size as my shoe size I was SWIMMING in them.

I agree I like them snug so you dont even lose more feel and feedback from the boot.

Yah I hear yah man, I always gear up but sometimes hate how it takes alot of feeling away from riding.

But yah all my boots seem to run smaller sizes than my street shoes.
