Default 5'9" 190 lbs, looking for a 1 piece suit. need size help

hey guys, i'm having some trouble sizing my next suit. i used to wear a 42 dainese "ROCK" suit a few years ago when i weighed 165 lbs. it was a little loose in the ass, but the jacket fit perfect. now that i'm a little heavier, i'm a little skeptical about my size. the A* website shows that I should be buying a size 40 US for my waist and chest measurement, but I don't think a 40US will fit someone with my weight. what'ya think?

hmmm I dunno. It really depends on your build. I know when I used an off the rack suit I had to go really big because of my shoulders, but then it would be all loose in the waist and so forth. Have you looked into a vanson custom? They are actually very well priced and they will hold up very well

I'd say a 44 or a 46 US

a custom set of vanson's is enticing, but most likely a little outta range for my budget. I'm thinking about a 54 euro myself, but i'd like to try one on before i purchase anything. now where do i find an A* dealer who has suits on the rack this time of year...
