The shoe-style boots offer significantly less protection than a full racing boot would. I personally have the the oxtar evo rx. Newenough has had a sale on them for a while but you might still be able to find your size. http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/b...cle_boots.html

I have the Gaerne GRW and they are awesome as well. Very comfortable and lots of protection.

Sidi Vertigo Corsa Airs. Awesome comfort, great fit ,(at least to my foot shape,) and great feel on the shifter. These have sooo much more feel on the shifter than my old A* SMX's did. Those felt really blind and were cut for a wider foot than mine. I can wear the Corsa Air's all day on the blacktop at the track with no problems. I also really like the cable tensioners to keep them nice and tight on my feet, and to top it off, they have great venting too.

If I still rode street, I wouldnt hesitate in wearing these all day at work either.

^I'm going to have to go try those on now, see how they feel and see if I can get away with wearing 'em for over 8 hours a day, walking around, lol.

Stupid school and work.

They's pricey, so beware. Expect a retail of $425 on em. I got mine for $365 through www.parts411.com. Talk to Jeff or Paul and tell em the local guy Danny with the 06 R6 sent you. I've been sending a lot of people their way, so you might get at least a little deal on top of their already awesome pricing. With shipping I imagine you should be able to get em within two weeks or so.

vans FTW! great ankle ventilation. j/k

i like my vertigo airs, but my zipper on my right boot busted from resting the inside of my ankle on the rearset heel guard. now im trying to look for a new pair that have the zippers covered. im shooting for the new A* supertech R. those things look sweet. specially in the white camo. check it at kneedraggers

Shoe size is 10 - 10.5 - 11 depending on brand and shape and yadda yadda.

So that's a 44 - 45 I think.

Oh, I know the price.

The first boot I posted up (rossi replica) is about 4 - 500 ... and it really doesn't have much aside from it being his replica, lol.
