Default Falling into corners?

Okay i just got my R6 a few months ago after I sold my 01 R1. I have noticed when coming into corners I will throw it over pretty quick and it responds great but down low it will act like it wants to wash out even on the gas. My R1 never did this but I also had Pilot Powers on it. I have always brought it back up a little and saved it but it falls over right at the point where the feelers are about to hit. I just wanted to know if this is a stock dunlop garbage tire problem or a problem in my riding technique. Thanks.

that all depends on how many miles you've put on the tires so far. scrubbed in yet?

from what i hear.. the qualifiers are excellent tires with great grip.

Nah the bike has 2k miles on it with only 1 canyon run in them. No chk strips but still not fully broken in yet? And they are D208's

oh ok, you didn't specify what year/type (if 06) R6.

yea, people have differing opinions on the 208's.. i myself fucking hated those things. i too felt as if the bike was going to slide from under me when leaned.

get new tires dude.. i have Metzler m3's at the moment and love the hell out of em. pilot powers are obviously good too.

hell yea man, thought i'd go a different route other than pp's.

these things rock.. super sticky.. and the life seems pretty damned good. granted i'm not pushing the bike too hard at the moment, but overall they're a great tire.
