Fear of Heights
I have a friend who wants to start riding. Hes never really ridden before and is a little apprehensive about big hills. Personally I dont have my own bike yet, but Ive been down a few big hills before, but I also dont have a fear of heights. He is worried that if he does get a bike, if he were to go into the mountains, he would be too afraid to go back down. lol
Is this for real?
Would a moderate (so he calls it) fear of heights do that?
Anyone with a fear of heights ride bikes? We need your help.

see it's like this.. when you're riding a motorcycle.. especially when you're on a mountain, you definitely should NOT be looking around paying attention to the elevation you are at.
you GO where you LOOK.
hence, he should teach himself to look at the road and not pay attention to elevation change.

He drives fine. No problems. I told him that you said, he'll be concentrating more on the road then the skyline. He Better not go off a cliff. i'll kick his ass.

Tell "your friend" to take his bicycle (that one in your garage) up to the biggest hill in the mountains and ride down the hill. If "he" can do it on that he can do it on a motorcycle.
