not about 'dragging knee'... just work on your form and your speed in corners... and your ability to carry the corner speed... just hang the knee out there and if it touches then that lets you know where your at... u dont need to drag it all over the fuckin place... all that is going to do is slow you down. i absolutely hate seeing pictures of people on this forum and others 'dragging knee' with their knee sticking out 2 miles reaching like crazy to be touching. its like they try so hard to touch down that their bikes arent even leaned over and their form blows. you dont need to put it down to go fast. just hang it out there and use it as an indicator... now if your low, and its just sliding there touching then yeah you kno... but to just be stretching ur legs out for braggin points is fuckin hanus.

I'll be the first to say...If you're dragging knee on the street...You're going too fast...

But that doesn't answer your question...So I'll do my best...

I'm 5'3''...And I can do it...And the secret is all in your body positioning...

When riding canyons I always exaggerate my body positioning in order to work on it...

For instance...In an upcoming corner I will run myself through the motions mentally...

I will correct my entry speed and adjust my line for appropriate entry...

I will then proceed to positioning my butt cheek on the outermost part of the seat's side...

I will adjust my footing on the pegs accordingly to support my weight evenly...

I will look past the turn with my lid nearly touching the mirror...

And lastly I will countersteer all while extending my knee outwards for balance...

In essence, you become parallel with the machine...

And while countersteering you naturally flow into a position where your knee will smoothly touch...

It becomes entirely natural...And I always run the steps through my head...

And soon enough it becomes second nature...

I'm sorry if what I wrote doesn't seem clear...It does in the motion...But typing is different...

I hope I was some help...

You get close to the mirror so you can admire yourself...Durrrr...

No...Don't do that...That would be bad!

It's a practice of good form and will increase your ability to gauge and negotiate a turn...

Again...It's difficult to put into words...But I think that sums it up nicely...

if you bend your inside elbow, and get close to the mirror as stated by devil then you will have your weight even over the bike... with your outermost ass cheak on the inside part of the bike you will have your weight in the turn... so by putting your face into your mirror with your inside elbo bent, you are attempting not only to disperse weight evenly but to also keep your body parallel with the bike. dont worry about dragging knee... the reason why your not dragging yet is because your not low enuff... just kuz you may not have any chicken strips left on ur bike doesnt mean your at the tires limit at all... pay more attention to your front tire wear marks as they are the true tell tale. good luck.
