blip downshifts
Ok u have to blip the throttle to match rpm to wheel speed while down shifting like heel and toe in a car well u do if u r runing hard and approaching\entering corners at say race pace the only person I've seen not do this i Eric Bostrom
but that was when he was on the duc which is twin and i think has less engine braking and makes it eaiser like guys running 250gp bikes dont blip.I wonder if Eric rides the R6 with no bliping. I have tryed bliping just normal street speeds and I'm having problems with giving it gas while squeezing the front brake more
hell even not bliping I'm having this Problem sometimes kinda scary anyone have this problem or know how to slove it ? Anyone know how E-Boz slips the clutch out and would it be easier with the slipper clutches they r using? Iwould thik this would cause alot of clutch disc heat and wear,But almost seems easier to learn how to do. Do they cover this in riding\racing schools.O I have stock clipons in the stock position I tried moving them out but it seems they r not adjustible I did this cause it kind feels uncomfortable in my right hand the muslce attched to your thumb on your plam starts to hurt preety bad and I'm checkin myself I'm not griping the fuck out of it so I thought if they were out a litle would help but I dont know Can anyone HELP Thanks guys\gals

Now on topic... I dont know what the hell you are talking about. Hell, I can barely even separate your thoughts. Care to paraphrase?

twins have more aggressive engine braking, try blipping without using the brakes to try and understand it, slipper clutches arn't nessessery on the road (IMO, if you learn to blip)
i think that answers ur q

I blip the throttle while braking and downshifting if I am slowing down. It's useful for when you're preparing to enter a turn but I do it almost everytime I slowdown to stop at lights/intersections just to practice (and keep myself in the powerband incase of an emergency). I do the same in my car also.
Just keep practicing so you can be smooth with the clutch and get a feel for the amount of throttle you need in order to match the revs properly.

Slippers are nice, but sometimes if I down shift 2 gears coming in very aggresive into a turn on the track, I still break the rear end loose. Slippers help with matching revs and make you seem like a GP hero coming into turns and don't have to be near perfect when blipping the throttle.

First practice, and 2nd, make adjustments on your bike to make blipping easier to perform while braking.
I don't recall on my yamaha, but on my gixxer now, I had to perform surgery to get the brake levers at an angle to where I was most comfortable with for ease of using the brake lever and blipping.
I used a dremel to cut off the guides for the brakelines in order to move my brake lever to such an angle to have my wrist not kinked in any way, along with my brake lever adjusted close enough to apply some force while blipping. Once you start getting the hang of it, it's all done in milliseconds...
When you say "squezzing", are mashing the brakes? Maybe you need to practice on being a little looser on your grip while blipping to allow the palm of your hand and tumb to blip the throttle. If you're trying to blip the throttle and perform almost "panic stop" braking while blipping from normal street speeds, that's just asking for trouble...

I always rev match when downshifting .......... Is there any other way to do it ? I do it when i drive a manual transmission. Actually i have a funny story about rev matching. I was driveing my buddys 04 c5 and i did some rev matching while downshifting and he was amazed. I found it amuseing since im so used to it i dont even notice im doing it anymore

blipping while on the brake is tough and will take lots of practice
but if you're having problems doing it w/o the brake either, I would guess that you are putting too much weight on your hands. Use your knees, back, and abs to hold your riding position. Better control, feel, etc....

+1
I just went out on a ride out of this recent spike in clutchless shifting/downshifting intrest/posts...
Braking is a bit tough, and you have to actually think about it if you're not used to it....infact, I had to counsciously think about downshifting clutchless.
But I think preloading is the most important part, cause half the time, when preloaded, I didn't even have to follow though after I let of the throttle, it grabbed and shifted on it's own. It felt funny having all my fingers on the bars, but it did make you feel a bit more in control....
I've only clutchless upshifted before just to see what it felt like. When I would race, I can honestly clutch as fast as I can releasing for a split second to clutchless upshift("blipping the throttle" to those that didn't know that term). I dunno how much it affects you're 1320 or anything, but I didn't see any advantage to it for me aside from having all my fingers on the bars..
