Default Seat Position?

Where in the seat do you sit? Do you sit all the way forward with your nuts on the tank, or do you sit all the way back with your ass touching the passenger seat? Or somewhere in the middle?

When I first started riding the 6, I had my nuts all the way against the tank. Now from experience I slide my ass back an inch or two so I don't get blueballs from riding the bike.

I was actually thinking of asking this exact same question, lately i've been riding with my nuts huggin the tank...but also as of late when i'm goin into turns it feels awkward like my back and front tire aren't tracking together. So i'm gonna start messin around with position and see what i like best. Oh...and i'm pretty tall as well 6'1''

Yea. Me to. Relaxed riding: somewhere in the middle, 'race-mode': balls against the tank and moving my body around the tank (hanging of) in corners.

I ride with my crotch about an inch or two away from the tank.

I ride with my ass all the way back. I used to ride close to the tank but I felt like I was sitting too verticle. When I got into the habit of pushing all the way back, I felt a LOT more comfortable when it came to getting my lean on.

I remember reading somewhere that riding with your nads on the tank is, more or less, a bad riding position.

i'm a couple inches away from the tank. in racing, scoot back a little bit so it's easier for me to tuck, plus it's how i'm more comfortable. easier cuz i'm 6'.
