Explaination is you both have different riding styles.

Betcha Doohan's strips were different than Rainey's. Oh wait...those guys sucked....

Nevermind.

I use my chicken strips as indicators as to how good I can ride

In all seriousness...who really cares. What I really use the chicken strips for, is to gauge how much I favor one side than the other...that's really about it. Just ride within your limits...before you know it, you'll look down one day and they'll be gone....if that kinda thing matters to ya...

Nice grammar, I hope you can ride more good than you can write.

We all worry about things like chicken strips and scuff marks on the knee sliders, but we should all be focusing on proper form. Chicken strips only matter when you're standin around with a bunch of squids who believe that, unless you're pushing the bike to 100%, you're not a real rider. A good group of riders focuses more on making sure everyone rides safely and within their own limits.

in all seriousness what is the scientific reason for the rear strips being smaller then the front?
Ive got nothing on the rear but about 3cm on the front 120/70, whereas when i was on 120/60 i used all the tyre on both front and rear

Default Question about chicken strips?

In all seriousness, if a homeless guy wants some of your chicken strips, tell him NO!

My theory would be that with the 70 you have more profile on the tire meaning that you might not be using the remaining portion of the tire...

But someone give us the real explanation...

im not worried about getting rid of them, i could really care less since i do mostly street riding and im on stock tires. i was just curious as to why my fronts are less than my rear and my cousins are the opposite. wh have r6s' so its 60 series not 70s
