Default What the hell are you supposed to do?

When the back tire slides out in a turn? Are you just fucked? Cause I had a LITTLE slippage the other night and it righted itself. I was just thinking though that if it had kept going and then caught traction, I would've gotten thrown. What are you supposed to do in this situation?

jump off

Just don't let it happen, be smooth on the throttle when you're at the edge of traction. If it just a small slip its nothing. just stop rolling on the throttle.

close your eyes, pin the throttle, and yell "BANZAI"!!! nah. jk. If it were me, I'd prolly go straight home to look for some clean undies.

had mine step out on me with my knee down the other day...almost crapped myself! closed the throttle a little too quick and almost got thrown from the bike when i came back up. gotta learn to be smoother and adjust my suspension a little i think.

BAD ADVICE. When I have a step out I ROLL ON THE THROTTLE and try and power out of it...

Leave the throttle right where it is, and stand the bike up a bit straighter. If you do it roughly, expect to get spit off, or at least out of the seat a bit. If you're smooth, you'll know it.

Its pretty hard to get yourself to roll on if you're already at a deep lean angle unless you're use to riding supermotos like in your signature.

Do not chop the throttle! Either keep the throttle as is or open it just a little more. Chopping the throttle will transfer the weight toward the front which helps you lose even more grip in the rear. Bad juju.
